Guardian Partner Programme · For Schools

Your School Is Already A Guardian — Make It Official

Schools are institutional guardians of children’s digital lives. Join the Kiddo Network Guardian Partner Programme: protect your parent community, meet your safeguarding obligations under the Children Act 2022, and earn a share of every parent who signs up — all from one partnership.

Schools Are Facing a Digital Parenting Crisis

Children spend more waking hours in your care than with any other adult community. That makes your school one of the most influential digital guardians in their lives — whether you’ve claimed that role formally or not.

Student Device Use

Students on phones during class. Late-night screen time affecting grades and attention.

Cyberbullying

WhatsApp group drama spilling into classrooms. Teachers mediating online conflicts.

Parents Asking Teachers

"How do I set up parental controls?" Teachers aren't tech support—but parents don't know who else to ask.

Inconsistent Approaches

Every family handles devices differently. No coordinated approach to digital safety.

The Solution: Become A Guardian Partner

Your school endorses Kiddo Network. Parents get expert guidance. Teachers get relief. Your school earns a commission — and builds a defensible safeguarding record.

Why Schools Are Institutional Guardians

Parents are the first guardians of their children’s digital lives. Schools are the second. No other institution sees children as often, as consistently, or across as many years. When schools act as guardians — formally — the whole community benefits.

Statutory Duty of Care

The Children Act 2022 recognises digital harm as a protection concern. Schools are expected to take reasonable steps — including partnerships that equip parents at home.

Community Trust

Parents trust teachers more than apps, influencers, or ads. When the school recommends a digital safety platform, adoption rates exceed 70%+ — we’ve seen it.

Behavioural Reach

Your school shapes children’s habits 8 hours a day. A coordinated home-school approach to screens, content and conversations multiplies every intervention.

Data-Driven Safeguarding

Aggregate school-level insights (with individual privacy preserved) let you see patterns — and respond early. This is safeguarding with evidence, not anecdote.

Parent Guardians

First line of defence. Closest to the child.

Institutional Guardians

Schools & churches. Community reinforcement & equipping.

Infrastructure Guardians

Telcos, ISPs, regulators. Platform-level protection.

Kiddo Network unites all three. Your school is the bridge between parents at home and the infrastructure behind every device.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Does this manage student devices?

No. Kiddo Network is a coaching platform for parents. We help parents manage their children's devices at home. The school partnership makes this accessible and affordable for your parent community.

  • Do we need IT support for this?

No. It's web-based. Parents access it on their own devices. School just needs to communicate the program and we handle the rest.

  • Can the school see individual family data?

No. Schools see aggregate data only (e.g., "72% of parents have enabled content filtering"). Individual family data is private.

  • What if some parents can't afford it?

Schools can subsidize partially or fully. Many schools cover 50% and parents pay the rest. We also offer bulk pricing discounts.

  • How do we measure success?

School dashboard shows: parent adoption rate, average safety scores, engagement metrics, and improvement trends. We provide termly reports for board meetings.

  • How does the Guardian Partner commission work?

Your school gets a unique referral code. Every parent from your community who purchases via that code earns your school 10% commission — paid quarterly to a nominated school bank account or M-Pesa. Schools referring 100+ parents per quarter earn a +2% volume bonus. Read the full Guardian Partner Programme here.

  • What’s the difference between co-branded and white-label?

Co-branded (free) uses both the Kiddo Network and your school’s logo. Lives at kiddo.network/partner/yourschool. Live in 24 hours.
White-label (KSH 50,000/year) is fully branded in your school’s name and colours on a custom subdomain like safety.yourschool.co.ke. Parents never see the Kiddo brand. Setup takes 2–4 weeks.

  • Does this help us comply with safeguarding obligations?

Yes. Under the Children Act 2022 and the Communications Authority of Kenya COP guidelines, schools are expected to take reasonable steps to protect children from digital harm. Partnering with a credentialed digital safety provider, equipping your parent community and maintaining aggregate safeguarding data all contribute to a defensible compliance posture. We provide a partnership letter you can include in your safeguarding documentation.
