Represent the brand.Professional, respectful, mission-aligned — always.
GUARDIANS MUST NOT
Spam.No mass unsolicited messaging.
Make false claims.No guarantees of 100% online safety.
Create fake referrals.Self-referrals or fake accounts = permanent termination.
Promote competitors.No simultaneous promotion of competing services.
Misuse branding.Use only approved materials from the Starter Kit.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much can I realistically earn?

    A Guardian who refers 10 parents/month earns KSH 2,500/month. 30 parents/month earns KSH 7,500. Top Guardians with expert session referrals earn KSH 15,000–30,000/month. Institutional Guardian Partners with large networks (schools, churches, ISPs) can earn KSH 50,000+/quarter.

  • When do I get paid?

    Every Friday. If your wallet balance is KSH 500 or above on Friday morning, the full balance is automatically sent to your registered M-Pesa number. US Guardians receive monthly Stripe transfers (minimum $10 balance).

  • What if a parent forgets to enter my code?

    If they used your custom referral link, the code is auto-applied — no action needed. If they visited directly and forgot, they can add it within 24 hours of purchase by contacting support. After 24 hours, attribution cannot be changed — so always share your custom link where possible.

  • Can I be a Guardian without having used Kiddo myself?

    Yes — but we strongly recommend completing the free Digital Safety Assessment for your own child first. Guardians with personal experience are significantly more effective and authentic.

  • Can I refer people outside Kenya?

    Yes. Your referral code works globally. US referrals earn commission in USD at US pricing tiers ($2.90–$7.90 per referral). Payouts for US referrals are made via Stripe monthly.

  • What happens if a parent requests a refund?

    If a refund is processed within 14 days of purchase, the corresponding commission is reversed from your wallet. Refunds are rare (< 2% of transactions) because parents receive real value quickly.

  • Can two Guardians share credit for one referral?

    No. First-touch attribution applies — the first code a parent enters gets the commission. This is why sharing your code early in the conversation matters.

  • Can I work as a personal Guardian AND at an institutional partner?

    Yes. You can maintain your individual Guardian account alongside your institution's Guardian Partner account. Referrals through your personal code earn your personal commission; institutional referrals earn the institution's commission.

  • How do I become a Lead Guardian?

    Reach 50+ referrals in a single quarter while maintaining a clean code of conduct record. Lead Guardian status is reviewed quarterly and must be maintained through continued performance. Lead Guardians unlock 15% commission and exclusive Summit invitations.
